An 18th century castle with tons of gardens. Taste authentic Belgian chocolate using 18th century recipes or check out the castle museum for history deets.

Seneffe Castle is an 18th century gem of Belgian history and culture. Drop by to see the Neoclassical castle, a stroll in the gardens, and to check out the museum for a peek into 18th century life. The castle itself was designed by Dewez, an architect inspired by Roman and Italian Renaissance architecture. Basically, that means Seneffe Castle is pretty!

The gardens are free to visit, but the castle has a small entry fee.

Castle gardens: Seneffe Castle has 22 hectares of gardens, so there’s plenty of room to stroll. The main highlights you’ll want to see are the big lake at the back of the castle, the small bridge at the back of the Theatre garden (it goes to a cute, small island) and the castle itself. See the full map of the gardens here.
