Enjoy the natural beauty of spring on a walk through Floralia Brussels. Don’t miss this one month floral event.

Located within the walls of Groot - Bijgaarden Castle is Floralia Brussels, a green garden that is open to the public for only one month a year. The gardeners at Floralia personally plant one million bulbs for this event. This flower exhibition of 14 hectares is home to a diverse range of flowers, including over 400 varieties of tulips!

This will be the 18th edition of the flower spectacle and is one of the most famous ways to welcome the spring in Belgium. It is located 8km outside the city and is the most aesthetically pleasing way to spend the day. The collection of flowers ranges from tulips to violets to lilies to azaleas to such much more. This garden is accessible by bridge and includes a castle, a small chapel, and a greenhouse which are all worth stopping to check out.

This spring activity has something for everyone. Couples can enjoy the romantic backdrop that these colourful flowers have to offer, while families looking to take their kids out for the weekend can have a family picnic and even enjoy a quick afternoon game of frisbee.

Floralia Brussels attracts many visitors daily. However, one can take really nice pictures without too many people on them once the crowds start leaving. Plan to start your visit around 16:00-16:30 and you'll get the warmest colours of this wonderland!
