This micro-brewery started in 2015 and makes gluten free ginger beer - with alcohol, yes!

This brewery is new, small, and has a range of five ginger beers. Their unique beers have ginger root that’s peeled by hand and are all gluten free. They actually started because the CEO Jeremy Sulzbache wanted to make ginger beer to drink on the Jewish holiday Passover.

Even if you don’t pay a visit to the brewery, you'll still find the ginger beers in bars throughout the city including Spécial Belge Taproom which is a popular spot with lots to choose from.

  • Ginger Tipple also boasts that they have the world’s strongest ginger beer at 13%. But you’ve got a range to choose from. Their beers range from 5% ABV (alcohol by volume) to 13%.
  • Do you want to go on a guided brewery tour? Well, Ginger Tipple offers hour long tours. The thing is their brewery is so small the tour doesn’t take long at all and you spend most of the hour doing a beer tasting
  • Their beers don’t tend to have a lot of foam and have a strong ginger flavour. Fans of ginger beers should give it a go, but they might not be for everyone
  • Need even more beer? You’re not that far from De Koninck and Antwerpse Brouw Compagnie
