Stop at the popular Waterfalls of Coo. Great for photos, walking, and sporty things to do, the waterfalls are pretty too. Come see the views of Amel-Valley

The Waterfalls of Coo are 15m high, making it the highest waterfall in Belgium. It’s honestly not that high of a waterfall compared to others out there, but it does look pretty and is a unique Belgian gem. So stop by to snap up photos. It’s a sight to see and great to combine with other nearby things to do in Coo.

  • Things to do: combine with nearby Coo-Adventure for kayaking and other sporty adventures. Go to the foot of the waterfall for minigolf, go-karting and more

  • Get Walking: there’s a 5km gentle walk around the lake. It starts at the hydropower plant by the Amblève. This stroller and wheelchair friendly walk gives you lots of natural views and a chance to see the local wildlife.

  • Fun fact: The waterfall has been around since about the 15th century. It’s been a tourist attraction since the 1800s.
