Take in a breath of fresh air and enjoy the view at Prague’s most beautiful botanical garden.

Looking for some peace and quiet outside of the city centre? Well, that’s exactly what you’ll get exploring the Botanical Gardens. Guess what… the best part is the fact that a vineyard is located right next to gardens!

Before we get ahead of ourselves and mention the vino, the outdoor exhibition at the Botanical Gardens is so beautiful. Jump between the Japanese Meditation Garden and the Mediterranea Flora to see the different types of plants from all around the world.

The Fata Morgana greenhouse building is no slouch either. This modern building is home to many different plants which are spread out by temperature and humidity.

Spend some time both indoors and outdoors walking around and admiring the beautiful flora and fauna. As soon as you’ve had enough, go treat yourself to a glass or two of wine at the St Clara Vineyards next to the gardens.

  • It’s up to you how you decide to visit the Botanical Gardens. You can explore the place by yourself or book a tour and learn about the flora and fauna from an expert.
  • With over 30 hectares of land, the botanical garden is quite big and spacious. Spend the afternoon admiring the beauty of all the beautiful nature around you.
  • The Botanical Gardens are truly an oasis of calmness. Perfect for a day where you just want to relax and be by yourself with nature.
  • We love going in spring and summer because of the weather but since it’s so easy to get to and open all year round there’s really no bad time to visit the gardens.
