Enjoy a nice cold beer while taking in the view over the Vltava River and Old Town Prague at Letná Beer Garden.

Letná Park is famous for its picturesque view of the city below. Along with the view, the beer garden is the perfect rendezvous spot to meet up with some friends and enjoy a few pints of beer while overlooking the city.

During the summer months, you’ll see the garden filled with locals and expats laughing and enjoying beers around the dozens of outdoor picnic tables in the beer gardens. Since the beer garden is up above the city you can grab your pint and go take in the views from the many viewpoints that surround the garden. It’s the perfect place if you’re wanting to get outside and socialize with friends.

• Summer fun as soon as the days get longer and the weather gets warmer, the beer garden gets booming. The whole place has 1,500 seats but fills up fast! If you’re feeling brave during the colder months you can still enjoy the park and then you can pick out the seats with the best view!
• If you’re feeling like treating yourself and want some proper food then the beautiful building right next to the garden has some great food. You can even go treat yourself to a nice dinner and then sit in the gardens and watch the sun set over the city.
• If you haven’t tried Czech beer yet then this is the place. With a great variety of Czech beer, you’ll have some great options to choose from. The Dark Kozel is our go-to!
• On really busy days they sometimes bring out an extra beer stand where they also sell beer to avoid the long line-ups at the normal stand. We love this! It’s so much more fun sitting with your friends than waiting in line.
• Take in the view: if you’re less of a beer-garden type of person but still want to take in the view there are some benches down below the beer garden that offer some great sun-tanning spots and are a perfect place for you to bring and enjoy your favourite book.
