Enjoy one of the best sunset view spots in Prague and enjoy a nice relaxing evening.

Riegrovy park is between two trendy neighbourhoods in Prague, Zizkov and Vinohrady. So you’ll be surrounded by locals and expats strolling around the park. You’ll notice there are tons of great spots to pop a squat and just hang out for hours.

We love going to the highest point in the park which usually gets quite busy in the evenings because of the view. You’ll have a huge opening where you’ll see the old town down below and the Prague Castle in the distance. The most magical part of this viewpoint is that during the summer the sun sets perfectly behind the castle. The view is something straight out of a movie.

There’s a reason so many people go sit up at the top of the hill to watch the sun go down. What better way to end your day in Prague? Grab a few friends, maybe some drinks, and go enjoy the day coming to an end at Riegrovy. And don’t forget to bring your camera!

  • Beer galore: there’s a wonderful beer garden that is right in the centre of the park that is worth checking out. They have some great food stands and you can even bring some food to go while you watch the sunset.
  • There are many great walking trails in the park. If you don’t have time to go for sunset then go roam around the park during the day with a warm coffee from one of the coffee trucks.
  • One of the yummiest burger places in town can be found just outside of the park; The Tavern. Americanised, greasy and absolutely delicious burgers, fries, and cocktails!

It’s an awesome place to meet up and enjoy an evening with friends. Some great memories are always made in Riegrovy watching the sunsets and enjoying laughs with friends.
